Frying Pan Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
All-purpose flour – 1.5 cups
Salt – ½ tsp
Yeast – 1 tsp
Caster sugar – 1 tsp
Oil – 3 to 4 tbsp
Water – as needed
For the Chicken Tikka:
Chicken breasts – 2 pieces
Ginger-garlic paste – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Yogurt – 1 tbsp
For the Toppings:
Pizza sauce – 4 tbsp
Onion – 2 (sliced)
Shredded tikka chicken – ½ cup
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Capsicum – 1 (chopped)
Cheddar cheese – ½ cup
Oil – 4 tbsp
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Chicken Tikka:
Marinate the chicken breasts with ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, and yogurt.
Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Grill the chicken until fully cooked.
Place a hot coal on the chicken, drizzle a little oil, and cover it for 10 minutes for a smoky flavor.
2. Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, yeast, oil, and caster sugar.
Gradually add lukewarm water and knead until a soft dough forms.
Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.
Roll the dough into a 9-inch pizza base.
3. Cook the Pizza in a Frying Pan:
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan on low heat.
Place the rolled dough in the pan and cook for 3 minutes on one side.
Flip it over, add 2 more tbsp oil, and cook the other side until golden.
4. Assemble the Pizza:
Spread pizza sauce over the cooked base.
Add sliced onions, shredded tikka chicken, chopped tomatoes, and capsicum.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
5. Final Cooking:
Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts.
6. Serve:
Cut into slices and serve hot.
